Today, Thursday, was another day of gastronomical for us yaukwees. It started at 9am. Phillip fetched me from home and he parked his car at Tampines IKEA. We took SBS #168 to Woodlands Interchange and MRT to Kranji MRT Station. Richard met us there. He took SBS #170 from Bukit Timah Road outside Coronation Plaza. To get to the bus stop, he had to walk 15 minutes to the main road from his home and arrived all sweaty. Where else it was just a stone throw away for Phillip and me.

From Kranji MRT Station, we took SBS #170 (Blue Plate), which plies between Kranji MRT Station and Kota Raya in JB. Our stomachs were already singing Majullah Singapura before we arrived at the Causeway. After clearing Malaysian Customs, we made a beeline for Kim Loong Restaurant along Jalan Meldrum. Ordered a pack of braised mixture consisting of belly pork & skin, duck's liver & gizzards. Also a plate of crispy tau kee & tau kua from the stall beside. All of which were from a coffeeshop across the road.

At Kim Loong, we ordered a large claypot of Ang KoLi curry fish head to go with what we bought across the road, Killing three birds with one stone. As good patrons, we cleared our packed food and threw the wrappers outside, into a bin, of course!

We did not want to overeat bearing in mind we gonna have Crab Party at Thomas' place after we returned from JB.

Needed a good walk to digest the food, we walked to Kota Raya Mall. I bought some stuff at UO Super Store and we walked to InterPharm to buy medication. Richard wanted body massage and satisfied his craving in City Square while Phillip and I had ice kachang while waiting for him at the food court. Made our way back to Singapore at 3.30pm. Collected Phillip's car from Tampines IKEA and was at Thomas' place by 5.30pm.

Eric Lim and Joe Bong were already there. Richard arrived by 6pm. Thomas cooked corn beef Angel Hair Spaghetti. That was his first try. Though he forgot to add salt, it tasted almost perfect. Mixed with some Gimson Nonya Sauce, it tasted out of this world. A dish that I want to try soon. Following this dish, we had six huge steamed crabs. One for each of us. We had fresh lime juice, and a bottle of Sake, with compliments from Joe Bong.

Had a good old time chat and called it a nite at 10pm.
