A Day at Ang Mo Kio

Woke up to find my 5 months old iPhone4 hanged. Met MK Kenny @ AMK Hub and headed for the SingTel Hello Shop there. The lady at the counter swiftly checked my phone and changed the SIM Card free of charge.

Headed for R R Indian Food Stall in a coffeeshop at Block 252 AMK Street 21. A queue had already formed by the time we reached there. Joined the queue and ordered the above food. The rojak was fresh and crispy but the gravy is a little disappointing. However, better than other places. Still think the one at S11 at Tampines Central is the best. The mutton briyani was a pleasant surprise. The basmati rice was quite fragrant and good to taste on its own. The piece of mutton I had was succulent and very soft. However, the portion was too small for $5.

After the light and hearty lunch, while walking back to AMK Central, came across a stall selling pre-packed durians. Some $2 a box, some $5 a box. The man sold us the $2 ones @ $5 for 3 boxes. Armed with the durians, we went to the hawker center nearby to gasak. Had iced jelly after that and continued our walk back to AMK Central where I took a bus home at 4pm.
