Lunch @ Koufu in West Plaza

Cold Cuts of Pig's Trotter

Beef Stew
Clear Soup with meat balls, half egg, tofu, black fungus & vermicelli
Cold Cuts of Pig's Trotter sprinkled with chopped garlic
Chanced upon this stall at Koufu in Pasir Ris' West Plaza while looking for late lunch with my wife.

Looked like a relatively new stall and the photos of the various dishes attracted my eyes. I ordered the Beef Stew with Rice @ $4 and my wife had the Cold Cuts of Pig's Trotter complete with Soup (above) and Rice @ $4.30 only.

The beef was very tender and tasty. The gravy, excellent. Though not as good as those from Hillman Restaurant in the good old days, it was satisfying for me. The Cold Cuts was something I had not eaten for a long time and I enjoyed it. Especially with the cut ginger & malt vinegar and the super shiok chilli. The color says it all.

They serve Western Food as well. So guys, when shall we make a date to lunch there?
