The last time we visited this private eatery in Johore Bahru was on Thursday, 17th March 2011 with Dick Lee, Richard Lim, Phillip Lim & William Lim.

We have regularly been thinking of this place since. However, they do not entertain walk-in's as one has to order the food a day in advance. Reason being it takes at least 8 hours to cook the Beggar Chicken that is wrapped in mud and buried in ashes. Some three weeks ago, we had an itch to eat at this place again. So, called them on Monday to order the above dishes.

Phillip, William, Dick & Cheng Heng met at Richard's place in the morning and we arrived at Ban Heong Seng by 10.30am. The traffic at the Causeway was clear and the ride was pleasant. The above dishes were promptly served and we ate our fill. The five of us practically finished everything. What an appetite we had.

The total bill was reasonable priced @ Rm168 (Approximately S$70).
